Lessons found here align with and support the 2007 Georgia Performance Standards for Social Studies. These lessons were produced in a collaborative project between the Carter Center, the Jimmy Carter NHS Education Program, and the Jimmy Carter Library funded by the Georgia Humanities Council. Performance standards listed on each lesson are suggested; additional standards may apply. Also, lessons may be easily adapted for use with curricula in other states and countries.
