Committees, Commissions, and Boards (Federal Records Groups)

Records from the White House Office are considered Presidential materials, while those from the Executive Office of the President are generally Federal Records. Federal records that are the official records of boards, commissions and committees that reported to a particular President or are otherwise closely related to the Presidential papers are usually held in custody by Presidential Libraries. The finding aids in this section describe such records in the holdings of the Carter Library and are listed in alphabetical order.

Record Group 220, Records of Temporary Committees, Commissions, and Boards

Record Group 274, Records of Inaugural Committees

Record Group 309, Records of the Small Business Administration
