Preschool Visitors

General Information:  On select Wednesdays, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library staff and volunteers will read from a selection of story books in our library. Story time will be offered in the museum lobby. Themes we will include are nature, the presidency, leadership, growing up, roles adults play, etc. Simple language and colorful illustrations are included in every book.

Policies:   Please turn off cell phones and take crying babies to the gardens or the restroom to soothe them until they can return to the Book Nook. Adults must supervise their children during Book Nook. It is not a drop off activity. Program geared for children ages 2 to 5.

Afterward:  After your time at Book Nook, stroll and play in the gardens on your own. Paths are available for strollers, and the café is available for lunch between 11:30am and 2:00pm.
